Dependable off-grid heat in four steps: pick your heater, add the accessories you need, choose how to power it, then keep that power topped up.

2. Add AccessoriesDucting, exhaust and service parts
3–4. Power & RechargeSOK 12V batteries, solar and DC-DC charging
STEP 1 • HEATER

Choose your heater.

Every heater is a VEVOR model shipped from our supplier network within the Lower 48. Tap one to see its full profile.

STEP 2 • ACCESSORIES

Add what your install needs.

Accessories fit by measurement and part number, not just the heater's kW label. Check your heater's outlet size and voltage on each profile.

STEP 3 • POWER

Choose your power source.

Most diesel air heaters run on 12V DC for the fan, fuel pump and controls. A 12V LiFePO4 battery keeps them running away from shore power. The self-powered heater doesn't need one. Check your heater's DC input on its profile.

STEP 4 • RECHARGE

Keep your battery topped up.

A battery runs the heater, but it needs recharging. Add solar to recharge at camp, a DC-DC charger to recharge while you drive, or a shunt to see how much charge is left.

SAFE USE

Before you build.

Diesel heaters burn fuel and produce exhaust, including carbon monoxide.

  • Route combustion exhaust outdoors, away from occupied spaces.
  • Install and test a working carbon monoxide alarm wherever the heater runs.
  • Keep fuel and combustibles clear of the exhaust and warm-air outlet.
  • Follow the exact model's VEVOR manual for setup, fueling and service.
