Build My Off-Grid Heating Package

Start with where you need heat. We'll help you choose the diesel heater, correct 12V or 24V power system, optional solar charging, and compatible vents—without sorting through an entire parts catalog.

Start with the right VEVOR heater

Prefer a single heater before building a separate battery system? See the VEVOR self-generating GMH-04D model or six suitcase/toolbox/trolley choices. The separate ten-design/tank family offers other configurations. Choose by actual manufacturer SKU, not appearance alone.

All diesel heaters burn fuel and require outdoor combustion exhaust, correct installation and a working CO alarm. A battery runs fan/control equipment and startup, not fuel heat itself. Verify voltage and heater-to-battery compatibility before buying kit parts.

1. What are you heating?

RV or camper · Van or work vehicle · Off-grid cabin · Workshop or mobile jobsite

Heating output depends on the space, insulation, outside temperature, ventilation and exact heater model. We do not assume every unit rated “8kW” performs identically.

2. Choose your power system

12V setup: SOK 12V 100Ah battery + charger for a starter system, or SOK heated 206Ah battery + charger for more reserve and cold-weather features.

24V setup: Explore the SOK 24V battery + charger option. Check your selected heater's actual electrical input voltage before purchasing.

Not sure? Request a compatibility review before selecting a battery.

3. Choose your diesel heater

Compare the six VEVOR suitcase, toolbox and trolley designs or explore other VEVOR tank sizes and color choices. Bluetooth, tank size, electrical input and package contents depend on the variant you select.

4. Finish your installation

5. Add solar recharging if appropriate

Explore solar and charging components. A solar panel generally needs a compatible charge controller, correct cabling and an appropriate battery charging profile. A panel is not automatically compatible just because both products are described as 12V or 24V.

Important: Diesel heaters burn fuel and require exhaust routing outdoors, appropriate air intake and clearances, and a working carbon-monoxide alarm. Battery capacity powers the heater's electrical controls and fan—not the fuel heating energy. Follow the exact manufacturer manual and local installation rules.
